fluff but if you read it in a very certain way it could be implicit? it isn’t meant to be. just pure ramblings about Felixs freckles :))

you were lying in bed, head resting on Felix’s chest, hand in hand. he was staring at you like you were his whole universe, like every breath he takes is for you, and that’s because you are. you know that. you can hear it in his words, taste it on his tongue, see it in his every action- his determination to win. even in simple moments like this you know no one else could ever love you like Lee Felix can. you find yourself hoping he sees the same in you. every planet, supernova, comet, every little star. but it’s a pointless endeavour- one look at his eyes tells you yes.

you lazily drag your finger across his bare chest, faintly feeling his rapid heartbeat as you let your subconscious guide you. up his neck, across his jaw, landing on his cheek. he wasn’t particularly paying attention to your finger- he was more focused on your blissful gaze, full of love and shining like the sun. he knows he’s blushing- blushing hard, staining his honey skin a rose pink at your intimate actions. you’re blushing too, to an extent. two young lovers, inexperienced, finding the world together. just how you want your lives to be.

you find yourself linking his freckles together, drawing lines between them like you’re looking for constellations. quietly, breaking the sweet silence of the bedroom, you begin to count, “1, 2, 3..” barely above a whisper. you feel like a Greek philosopher looking for the Gods in the night sky. your Felix is similar, though, because he, too, is made of stardust. he couldn’t help but smile. you look so content lying like this that he couldn’t help but smile. to you, it’s brighter than any sun could ever hope to be.

“what’re you doing, my love.” he asks, despite the answer being clear. he just wants to hear your voice- clear like church bells and prettier than any choir. he couldn’t stand the silence when you looked so perfect. it feels like a necessity is being kept from him; like being allowed to look at water and not drink it, being held underwater but seeing the coast. his deep voice shook you straight to your core, the rumbling in his chest only furthering the impact. it was holy, like some sort of call to prayer or a call to respond.

“I’m counting your freckles. I think you have a new one.” you finally say, barely above a whisper. it’s right below one of his eyelashes, too pale for those not well-versed in the face of Lee Felix to notice. but, you stare at his freckles like stars in the night-sky so it was only natural that you would spot it. he giggles, the same rumble of his chest rushing through you, and pulls you into him a little bit tighter. his laughter makes your whole world light up- it feels so bright that it could’t possibly be real. but it is, and it’s yours, and you couldn’t feel more lucky.

Lee Felix and his little stars were yours, forever.
